To facilitate the destinations of National IPR Policy and become a significant part in worldwide advancement, India on Saturday went into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Denmark in the field of Intellectual Property (IP) Cooperation. The ‘Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade’ or the DPIIT marked the MoU with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. Prior, the Union bureau had given the endorsement for marking the MoU with Denmark in the field of IP Cooperation.
“The different sides will draw up Biennial Work Plan to execute the MoU which will incorporate the definite making arrangements for doing of the co-activity exercises, including the extent of activity,” an official dispatch said.
“This MoU will go far in cultivating the participation among India and Denmark and give chances to the two nations to gain from the experience of one another, particularly as far as best practices followed in the other nation. It will be a milestone venture forward in India’s excursion towards turning into a significant part in worldwide advancement and further the goals of National IPR Policy, 2016,” it included.
A very good initiative for both the country.
